Choosing a car subwoofer
Plan the system before the installation.
Driver size is one part of a car audio system. Compare enclosure dimensions, available mounting space, amplifier requirements and connections alongside the size label. A larger driver alone does not establish which model will sound better in your vehicle.

What is the difference between powered and enclosed subwoofers?
A powered subwoofer generally combines a subwoofer and amplifier in one unit. “Enclosed” describes a driver housed in a box and does not, by itself, confirm whether an amplifier is included. Slim 8 and Pulse 10 are powered concepts; confirm amplifier requirements for Core 12 and Pro 12 before building a system.
